Director of Underclassmen Programs (DUL)

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 + excellent benefits

The DUL will lead the underclassmen learning team and drive the Underclassmen Transition Program, a suite of initiatives designed to help BRYC’s ninth and 10th-graders excel.

Our two ULMs will guide BRYC’s freshmen and sophomores through their high school transition by running dynamic after-school programs and supporting Fellows individually.

The CCM will deliver best-in-class college counseling and financial aid services to 30 high school seniors and provide persistence support to a small cohort of BRYC’s college students.

College Mentor

Overview: Guide one high school senior through the college application, financial aid, and college transition processes.

Commitment: 1-2 hrs/week from Aug 2019-May 2020; consistently attend Mon., Tues., or Weds. from 5:30-6:45 or 7:15-8:30pm at BRYC.

Overview: Offer copyediting, content, and style support, primarily to high school seniors working on college and scholarship essays.

Overview: Offer scholastic support in one or more subjects to help Fellows excel in school and prepare for college.
