Bree Spielfogel, Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor
As a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor, Bree works to support Fellows with their mental and emotional health by providing individual intervention sessions, time management workshops, and psycho-educational groups.
Originally from New Orleans, Bree spent a large portion of her childhood in Ohio where she attended the University of Dayton and earned a bachelor’s degree in special education: intervention specialist. Bree has been a Baton Rouge educator for more than eight years, teaching at Broadmoor Middle School, THRIVE Academy, and University Prep Elementary. She has also been a basketball and volleyball coach, dean of students and school leader earning a certificate from the RELAY Graduate School of Education in school leadership.
Bree has a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. She also teaches yoga and has been a BRYC mentor for seven years. Bree also serves on the Beth Shalom Synagogue Board and is passionate about her two “support animals,” Ms. Posie and Ms. Hava.
