Jolanda Taylor, College Counseling Manager
Jolanda joined BRYC in August 2019 as a college counseling manager, working with Senior Fellows and College Mentors.
A native of Franklinton, LA, Jolanda is a first-generation college graduate. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts, with a concentration in sociology from Southeastern Louisiana University. Later, she earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Grambling State University while working as the assistant director of housing. Jolanda has worked in multiple areas in higher education: academic advising, student engagement, leadership development and TRIO Programs. She is passionate about providing resources and opportunities for student success. Considering herself a life long learner, she collaborates with regional and state college access organizations.
In her free time, Jolanda enjoys traveling, painting, and spending time with family.
