Catherine joined BRYC in 2026 as a senior counselor. In this role, she supports Senior Fellows in the postsecondary planning, application, and financial aid processes, guiding them from the end of junior year through matriculation to their school of choice.

Originally from New Jersey, Catherine has built and led education non-profit programs throughout the state. She launched new branches of youth literacy organization Mighty Writers in Camden, Atlantic City, and Newark, N.J., and then established the first expansion site of college access organization YPIE in Jersey City, N.J. In these roles, Catherine led teams, built fundraising pipelines, and ensured educational support for thousands of students.

Catherine earned a BA from La Salle University and an MFA from Rutgers University Camden, later teaching college writing at both. She has traveled widely, including an AmeriCorps year in El Paso, Texas, a study abroad semester in Galway, Ireland, and summers leading volunteer groups in León and Matagalpa, Nicaragua. Catherine is thrilled to now live in South Louisiana with her partner, pets, and many plants.
