BRYC's Pledge: Best Place to Work

We seek uncommonly hardworking, dynamic individuals passionate about providing students with world-class college prep resources. In return, BRYC commits to treating you at all times with empathy, care, and grace. We will champion your professional development and honor your personal goals, making every effort to ensure your success.

For the last five years, BRYC has been named by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report as a “Best Place to Work,” an award based on employee feedback. In 2022, we were proud and humbled to be chosen number one in the small business category. In 2024, The Nonprofit Times named BRYC a top 20 “Best Nonprofit to Work for in the U.S.” This is largely because our team gets to support incredible young people, performing emotionally fulfilling, ethically significant, and intellectually stimulating work for fair compensation.

But it’s also that we trust one another because we commit to embodying BRYC’s core values — hustle, integrity, community — in our professional conduct. The result is a workplace culture in which teammates are safe and valued, and conflict is resolved constructively.

In that light, we do not tolerate the following acts of violence by or against any member of the BRYC Community, which includes candidates for employment: racism; sexism; ableism; homophobia; transphobia; ageism; anti-Semitism; stereotypes; physical, emotional, or sexual abuse; or gossip. We encourage you to read our Trust Statements and Culture Code to learn more.
