Disney selected Senior Fellow Jaylynn Powe (BRMHS ’23) and 99 other exceptional U.S. students to convene at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla., this spring for the Disney Dreams Academy, i.e., four days of career exploration and inspiration. Jaylynn rose to the top of the applicant pool for her curiosity, compassion, and courage. But Disney wanted to know: Where can we find more ‘Jaylynns’ in Louisiana? Reps reached out to her personally for help spreading the word, Jaylynn explained. “I wanted to put it on BRYC’s radar.” Message received, Jaylynn!
