AIRLINE SITE LEAD

Chasity joined BRYC in July 2022 as an underclassmen learning manager, then transitioned to Airline site lead in summer 2024. In this role, she oversees programming on BRYC’s Airline campus and leads a cohort of 8th–10th-grade Fellows in developing and strengthening self-regulated learning (SRL) skills. You can also find her stepping up to assist Junior Fellows in mastering ACT content and test-taking strategies. Chasity works to equip all Fellows with the necessary tools to be successful through college and into their personal and professional lives.

Chasity was born and raised in Birmingham, Ala., where she also earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During her time in college she helped support students in the Birmingham City School system with everything from ACT preparation to elementary literacy. This work helped spark her passion for helping students realize their dreams, break through institutional barriers, and live meaningful and fulfilling lives worthy of their talent and potential. After college, Chasity worked with the Denver Math Fellows program in Colorado, providing high-dosage math tutoring to middle school students. For the past two years, she has supported high school juniors and seniors to reach their post-secondary goals with Kids on Course in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Outside of BRYC, Chasity spends time with her husband and their two sons. She enjoys cooking, taking care of plants, and reading.
