
Kenya Warren-Hollins (she/her)
Director of Career Services
Kenya Warren-Hollins joined the BRYC team in December 2023. As director of career services, she supports College Fellows and Alumni in their pursuit of career-track employment, high-value internships/apprenticeships, and professional development. Kenya also liaises with campus career service offices and works to continually expand BRYC’s network of employers interested in hiring our Alumni.
Kenya is a native of New Orleans, La., and her long-term commitment to service began during her reign as Miss Southern University in 2010-2011. She earned both a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and a master of public administration with a concentration in nonprofit management at Southern University’s Baton Rouge campus. Previously, she served as executive director of Up ‘Til Dawn (St. Jude Children’s Hospital collegiate fundraising endeavor), a Girl Scouts outreach leader, regional recruitment manager at City Year, and student recruitment specialist at College Track New Orleans. She is also an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Baton Rouge Sigma Alumnae Chapter. Outside of BRYC, Kenya enjoys traveling with her husband Marlin and daughter Konnor.
