Kirsten Raby (she/her)

Learning Manager, In-School

Kirsten joined BRYC in July 2025 as an in-school learning manager, bringing her passion for youth empowerment straight into East Baton Rouge classrooms. In this role, she partners with local high schools to deliver in-school ACT instruction and wrap-around support for BRYC Fellows — helping students not only dream big, but test big, too.

Kirsten is a proud Baton Rouge native who holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from The Southern University. Her career has been rooted in public service and community care, spanning advocacy and support for survivors of trauma and victims of crime through roles at local nonprofits and the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office. Now, she’s thrilled to shift from crisis response to opportunity creation and help open new doors for the next generation of young leaders in her hometown.

When she’s not supporting BRYC’s in-school Fellows, Kirsten is a hands-on mom to three energetic boys (plus one loyal fur-brother). She’s also a big fan of farmers markets, a true crime documentary enthusiast, city adventures, and any gathering that includes good music, good food, and good people.
