Director of Operations

Marcus joined the BRYC team in December 2024 with over 20 years of experience in youth development and advocacy. As director of operations, he is responsible for ensuring that BRYC’s Downtown, Airline, and Iberville sites are prepared to support the delivery of world-class programs and supplemental services. Additionally, Marcus oversees BRYC’s tech library, transportation program, and team of part-time office assistants.

Originally from Rhode Island, Marcus earned a bachelor’s in community health and wellness and a minor in coaching from Rhode Island College. His professional roles include youth sports coach, parks and recreation employee, Montessori teacher, youth gang prevention counselor, operations director for the Early Learning Center of RI, and 21st century and community outreach director for the YMCA of Greater Providence. Most recently, Marcus served as executive director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South (Brockton Clubhouse), where he worked with many community partners and leaders to provide a safe, engaging, and welcoming place for all youth. Outside of BRYC, Marcus enjoys playing basketball, spending time with his wife and four children playing board games, and watching movies.
