Fellows, volunteers honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy

Fellows tidy up BRYC's flower beds on MLK Day

BRYC Fellows and volunteers started the spring semester embodying our core value of “Community” in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy. Bright and early on January 13, 50 Fellows and VIPs joined the BRYC team to complete campus improvement projects, including adding ridged inserts to our new chain-link fence and some needed landscaping. Once the traditional cleanup was finished, BRYC closed out MLK Day with a “Community Circle.” Fellows participated in guided reflection and discussion of diversity and inclusion, rooted in the principles of Dr. King’s Beloved Community.
