Northwestern State University gifts three rising Senior Fellows with surprise scholarships
The recipients were attending BRYC’s three-day Senior Retreat on NSU’s campus when they got the good news.
Fifty-four Fellows attended a Senior Retreat at Northwestern State University June 27-29, where they participated in senior year prep workshops, completed the Common App, and attended panels to discuss opportunities and expectations in higher education.
While on campus, NSU’s director of enrollment management Mr. Van Erikson greeted the Fellows and announced that three of BRYC’s rising seniors would receive scholarships worth $4,000 ($1,000 per year) if they enroll NSU in fall 2024. The recipients are Jamaria Fisher (home school ’24), Ja’Leah Robinson (BRMHS ’24), and Hal Williams III (BRMHS ’24). Congratulations, Fellows, and thank you, Northwestern State University!
