Junior Fellow Lindsay McKinney (Cristo Rey ’23) joins Young Entrepreneurs Academy of Baton Rouge, a highly selective organization that connects entrepreneurial-minded students with local business experts. Like BRYC, YEABR fosters a rigorous environment primed for experimentation and learning from mistakes, which Lindsay says are critical to “perfecting our craft.” Becoming an overnight CEO doesn’t entice her; she plans to smash body type stereotypes and empower women through inclusive fashion instead. Lindsay challenges skeptics to forget age when innovation is at stake and support Louisiana’s youth visionaries who are creating solutions that will be “heard around the world.”
