Connor Gonzales, Associate Director of College Counseling
Connor joined the BRYC team in June 2019. As associate director of college counseling, he drives BRYC’s day-to-day Senior Fellow initiatives and is the main steward of the senior class culture. Connor also plays a key role supporting College Fellows and partners with the Community Team on BRYC-wide events and culture initiatives.
A native of Plattenville, Louisiana, Connor earned bachelor’s degrees in both history and government from Nicholls State University before securing his master’s in higher education from LSU, where he served as an Office of Orientation graduate assistant. After graduate school, Connor stayed at LSU to work as an orientation program assistant, responsible for coordinating new student and family orientation.
Outside of work, Connor enjoys playing tennis and spending time with friends, family, and his two cats Elphaba and Glinda.
