Donors raise $120,265 for "the BRYC Mobile" on 225 GIVES

It’s hard to find words to express the depth of gratitude we here at BRYC feel for the dozens of Alumni, Guardians, VIPs, and friends far and near who showed up for Fellows this week. BRYC will use these funds to purchase and maintain a 15-passenger van, allowing us to safely transport Fellows to programs, ACT tests, college visits, and more.

Fellows and families consistently report that sourcing reliable transportation to our downtown campus is a key barrier to enrollment and attendance. Providing a safe, guaranteed ride doesn’t just make BRYC more accessible – it makes us more equitable. Expanded transportation services open BRYC’s doors to prospective Fellows in rural areas and those from schools with smaller populations of current Fellows. We expect the 2023-24 cohort will be BRYC’s largest to date, and we’re still accepting applications from rising 8th-11th-graders. (Know a teen who could benefit? We head into next year inspired by how, once again, supporters near and far showed up for BRYC on 225 GIVES. It’s a testament to the love and all-hands-on-deck attitude of the BRYC Community, a community that exists for and because of amazing young people whom we are honored to serve. Thank you.
