Dajah Taylor (Liberty ’25) has been elected Skidmore first-year class president. With BRYC’s support, Dajah secured a coveted spot in Skidmore’s Academic Opportunity Program and was awarded more than $325,000 in gift aid. After arriving in Saratoga Springs, she quickly established herself as a leading voice in peer spaces: writing about student life for HerCampus, organizing a first-generation student mixer, and landing a nomination for class president. As president, Dajah was a lead architect for Skidmore’s inaugural First-Generation Symposium, which brought students and campus stakeholders together for a day of shared reflection and storytelling centered on first-generation experiences.
