Six innovative awardees will carry on Albert Fraenkel II's legacy
Thank you, Fraenkel Family!

Six BRYC Alumni awarded scholarships in honor of Baton Rouge visionary Albert Fraenkel II. Established in 2024 by Mr. Fraenkel’s son Jeffrey Fraenkel and Alan Mark, the award provides $5,000 seed funding to aspiring changemakers who “embody Albert’s entrepreneurial spirit.” In 2025, Mr. Fraenkel’s brother, Francis “Shorty” Fraenkel, contributed an additional $25,000, doubling the fund. The Fraenkel family’s generosity made it possible to grant six awards this year and invest in new professional development initiatives like the first annual “Powered Up” conference.
Please join us in congratulating the 2026 Fraenkel Fellows!
