Jaden Armstrong is BRYC's latest Louisiana Young Hero

Since 2021, at least one BRYC Fellow has been chosen for this honor each year.

Senior Fellow Jaden Armstrong (Liberty ’26) is BRYC‘s 12th Louisiana Public Broadcasting Young Hero. BRYC senior counselor Rachel Stevens nominated Jaden for, among many qualities, his dedication to designing a better world through style.

Inspired by a younger brother who experiences visual impairments and autism, Jaden founded FeelBetter, a line of sensory-friendly clothing featuring details like Braille patches in lieu of tags. Last year, FeelBetter took home the top prize at the Young Entrepreneurs Academy Baton Rouge pitch competition, and Jaden was among the top 6 finalists at nationals. He plans to study engineering at Morehouse College.
