  • Alumnus Jeramy Cotton (Louisiana State University ’26) is beginning a five-week apprenticeship at local tree-servicing company Bofinger’s.
  • Alumna Jordan Crawford (ULL ’28) was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success, the nation’s largest leadership honor society.
  • Alumnus Cristion Henry (Southern University and A&M College ’25) passed the field training officer program with LSUPD, earning “solo status.”
  • Alumnus and Learning Mentor D’Metrie King (Southern ’23) received BRYC‘s 2026 Mentor of the Year Award.
  • Alumna Chloe Richardson (LSU ’28) and her fiancé are brand-new homeowners.
  • Alumni Rylee Rodgers and Randy Scott, both freshman risk management majors at Southern, recently attended RISKWORLD® in Philadelphia.
  • Alumna Madison Rowley (Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University ’28) was accepted into FranU’s nursing program.
  • Alumna Naturi Scott (Emory University ’25) was awarded a full ride to Tulane for its dual master’s program in landscape architecture / river-coastal science and engineering.
  • Alumna Garrinecia Singleton (Rhodes College ’22) was promoted from lead advisor to program manager with Girls On the Run in Greater Baton Rouge.
  • Alumna Yasmyne Wells (Southern ’23) was chosen to give the keynote address at Belaire Magnet High School’s junior ring ceremony.
  • Senior Fellow Nyssiah Ebanks (McKinley Senior High School) was a guest of Baton Rouge Economic Partnership, speaking about his experience as a high school intern with Brian Harris BMW.
  • In-School ACT Prep student Marlaija Milton achieved the highest score in her class at Glen Oaks High School.
  • In-School Advisee Omar Rashid (Woodlawn High School, CTEC) is one of Louisiana’s youngest certified NREMTs.
  • Junior Fellow Randy Hebert (Baton Rouge Magnet High School) was accepted into MIT’s highly selective MITES Semester Program.
  • BRYC’s Community Engagement Manager Angela Manangan was recently highlighted as one of LSU’s Alumni Geaux Getters.
