BRYC teamed up with Dow Louisiana, Iberville Parish School Board (IPSB), and the YMCA to launch our first satellite campus in Addis, La. Made possible through a partnership with IPSB and a generous contribution from Dow, a pilot group of 8th- and 9th-grade Iberville students are spending the school year strengthening academic and self-advocacy skills, with Dow employees serving as long-term mentors.

“The mentoring component provides our students with role models and allows them to discuss real-life situations with adults who can provide a perspective to assist them in their personal growth,” shared IPSB Superintendent Louis M. Voiron, Jr. Students interested in participating next year can apply when applications open in January.

BRYC thanks Dow Louisiana and IPSB for investing in our Iberville Fellows!
