Class of 2023 Spotlight: Reginelle Anderson

Sophomore year, Bonner Scholar Reginelle “Reggie” Anderson (Liberty ’19, Emory and Henry College ’23) began writing for The Whitetopper, Emory and Henry’s student newspaper. A versatile journalist, Reggie covered news; arts and life; sports; and crucial COVID-19 updates. Meanwhile, her work on Delta Rho Delta sorority’s Instagram and website led to a promotion as the newspaper’s social media manager. So her skills wouldn’t rust over the summer, Reggie exemplified “hustle” and proposed a communications internship to BRYC. For two months, she led the social media team, also taking part in BRYC’s “Culture Camp” and speaking on a College Fellow and Alumni panel. Reggie’s hustle continues this fall when she’ll begin work on an MBA at Portland State University.
