BRYC has signed agreements with 12 Louisiana colleges, formalizing partnerships. Two years in the making, the MOUs with LSU, the UL System, Southern University, and Baton Rouge Community College mean BRYC applicants and matriculated students will receive special supports such as fee waivers, dedicated liaisons, designated gathering spaces, and formalized mentorship, easing the transition to college and ensuring they thrive on campus. The partnerships signal a deep commitment to Fellows’ long-term success. “This is huge for BRYC,” shared Executive Director Lucas Spielfogel. “These MOUs are the foundation of a systemic approach to supporting in-state students, our largest group of College Fellows.”
