Engineering Fellows, a partnership between BRYC and ExxonMobil, announced its inaugural cohort at a kickoff celebration August 8. Aspiring BRYC engineers participated in a competitive application process to be paired with a dedicated Exxon employee mentor for an eight-month intensive professional development course. From September through May, Fellows and mentors will meet monthly to discuss what it takes to succeed in the engineering workplace, and mentors will also provide guidance with securing an internship for summer 2025. Thanks to a generous grant from ExxonMobil Baton Rouge, each Engineering Fellow will receive a $400 stipend.
