Fellows awarded first place in the national Dollars and $ense Youth Investment Competition

Fellows Jackson Lawrence and Erin Stewart (both Liberty ’24) are members of the 100 Black Men of Baton Rouge team awarded first place in the national Dollars and $ense Youth Investment Competition. Jackson and Erin traveled to Las Vegas June 14-18 for the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. 37th annual conference, where they each received a $3,000 scholarship as well as a trophy and accolades. The Dollars and $ense program and competition are sponsored by State Farm, with a goal to “provide high school students with early opportunities to learn and apply best practice principles for saving and investing.”
