  • Between December and March, 80% of Junior Fellows showed growth on the official ACT, increasing their scores 2.333 points on average.
     
  • Sophomore Fellow Rachel Albert (Liberty ’26) is among 100 young women, representing 14 countries, chosen to participate in the Women Empowering Nations 2024 Girls Leading Our World (GLOW) Global Cohort.
     
  • College Fellow Laila Montgomery (Spelman ’26) was elected to serve as Chapter Delegate for the Beta Iota Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
     
  • College Fellow Cristion Henry (Southern ’25) is a spring 2024 initiate to Beta Sigma’s House of Alpha while Alumnus Jadarius Taylor (Madison Prep ’17, Dillard ’21, SNHU ’24) joined Omega Psi Phi.
     
  • College Fellow Aarinii Parms-Green (Xavier ’26) was accepted to the UNUM Academy and recently returned from a study abroad stint in Switzerland.
     
  • Ninth-grade Fellow Jaquay Guillory (Liberty ’27) was cast in Theatre Baton Rouge’s production of “Cinderella.”
     
  • College Fellow Niya Mogheeth (LSU ’26) is researching growth mindset in HBCU STEM students virtually with Dr. Afiya Fredericks at the University of the District of Columbia.
     
  • Four College Fellows landed prestigious internships: Mya Beathley (USC ’26) with Boeing, Kaydence Bradford (Union ’27) with The Baton Rouge Clinic, Kenya Carney (LSU ’24) with Baton Rouge General, and Lauren Dukes (Southern ’26) with Medtronic.
     
  • College Fellow Autumn Edwards (Howard ’24) will be attending Georgia Tech’s aerospace engineering program this fall.
     
  • On Wednesday, Chief of Staff Josh Howard received the PRAL (Public Relations Association of Louisiana) Practitioner of the Year Award.
