- Alumnus Malik Johnson (Liberty ’18, Howard ’22, ’23) graduated with a master’s of architecture (MArch) last May and is now working for Didier Architecture in Baton Rouge.
- Alumnus JaMarcus Spears (Central ’18, LSU ’22) will graduate with a master’s of public health (MPH) from LSU-Shreveport this spring and begin a doctoral program in August.
- Alumna Deasia Ware, MBA (Scotlandville ’18, SELU ’21, UL-Lafayette ’23) recently accepted a position with Louisiana Legislative Auditor Investigative Audit Services.
- College Fellow Mia Peters (McKinley ’23, University of South Alabama ’27) was inducted into the Abeneefoo Kuo African American Honor Society.
- Senior Fellow Makayla Bey (home school) is a finalist for the highly competitive Gates Scholarship.
- Senior Fellow Ja’Leah Robinson (BRMHS) was one of only 100 students nationwide selected for the Disney Dreamers Academy 2024 cohort.
